Sandwich panels - Technical Details:
Sandwich structures are a material consisting 2 coversheets and a usually lighter core material.
Alulight® sandwich panels are made of 2 aluminium coversheets and an aluminium foam core.
Due to the high stiffness at low weight this material is particularly interesting for lightweight constructions.
By changing of the following parameters:
- Core thickness
- Core density
- Coversheet thickness
it is possible to adjust the material properties by requirement.
